Toshiba Primary High Capacity 12-Cell Li-Ion Laptop Battery £9.99

If you are still having problems, try Googling; Satellite Pro A200 PA3727U-1BRS ..... and don't neglect to click on the Thank You button.

You can't get 12 cells in the space of a six cell battery, so extra cells are in the extension which serves as a stand. That's why I provided the pic. It's designed for the laptops in my list.
Don't know what happened to you today. It's late I guess.

Part no. LC.BTP00.066
ACER Original £37.80
That's good to know.
Now, if only I could find it on the website.
I've tried searching my laptop make/model, the part number, just Acer and it's bringing back nothing.
Any ideas?:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

To be fair, I would not have trusted the website were it not for their presence on eBay and Amazon and it is very difficult to even find the pack on their website unless you run a search for it.
As to the date of the battery, has it affected the performance?
What kind of usage times are you getting from a full charge?
I expected the date of manufacture to be around that time, as it is a genuine Toshiba part and the machines for which it is compatible are from around that time.
It's a good idea to test them(charge it) as soon as you get them, to make sure that they perform as expected.
Mine shows five hours against two and a half with a new six cell.
So far, so good.
The new high capacity battery showed about 4 hours life on the first full charge, but I expect it may increase a bit after a few cycles.
My original battery shows a bit under 2 hours, but has been in use since 2008. To be honest I expected it to have given up by now.
It's a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300-1EO, by the way.0 -

Thanks for those links.
I'll have a look at my battery later and double-check before I buy one.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

Interestingly the original battery on my Satellite L300 1G5 is still giving me the same charge as when new and that is from 2009. Two to two and a half hours. Now showing around six hours using the Windows 7 Power Saving mode. That is on the first charge too.
Four hours seems a bit on the low side. Your battery is actually slightly newer than mine, which is dated 6/10.
I did my first charge with the machine off. You should perhaps charge for twelve hours and drain to around 5% perhaps three times, to calibrate the battery. Testing it by just playing music(with the sound off, in a loop) Six hours run time on the Satellite A300 using the 8300 mAh battery. So a worthwhile accessory, especially at that price.

It was purchased with Vista and a helpful "downgrade" to XP Pro, and has recently been changed to Windows 7 Pro.
At a second charge, it shows about 5 hours so I suspect it will improve further with a few more cycles. Given the price (£14.99 at the time) it seemed a very good way to obtain a genuine battery, with the bonus of being high capacity.
I guess Toshiba are now just getting rid of their oldish stock.0 -
Does anyone know if this battery has the 18650 battery inside of the casing (looking at specs of 10.8v and 9000mah, hoping they are 3.7v 3000mah 18650 battery x 12)Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

Thank you. That was the assurance I wanted, given Toshiba's own website didn't seem to know it would fit.NiftyDigits wrote: »I know the batteries and laptops in question.
I did buy one and (after delays due to a problem with the order and also me being busy) it did arrive and I've confirmed it does fit.

Good that you managed to get one before they sold out.0
