Why did you try a system restore in the first place ?
No point going to the expense of computer shop yet

I've been having some problems with certain sites loading. I'm not very good with computers so thought I would do a system restore to see if it would solve what ever the problem was.

Based on you last sentence, I would suggest yes to taking it to a computer shop. I would avoid PC World for cost reasons.

The issue is probably related to a driver for a particular piece of hardware, we could spend all day giving you suggestions to run different commands but I think for your own sanity I would get it looked at directly.

    Thanks for your help.

Have you backed up all of your important data?

Worst case scenario is a change of hard drive. You can do it yourself for £30 to £35.

Brand name and full model number of machine?
