I think if theres a song that you both love and has more meaning to you then you should go for that song.
We couldn't decide on a song as we aren't really a love song couple, and it just felt a bit false dancing to a typical first dance song so we were going to opt to not have one, the dj said this was very unusual but it was our choice, so we decide to listen to a song that we both really like but is not a typical first dance song (it starts off slow and lovey dovey then it goes almost a bit ravey), we decided it was the song for us when we both, without discussion started jumping round when the song kicked in- we felt this summed us up and it just felt the right choice! We didn't tell anyone apart from a few close friends what the song was and the reason we told them was because we wanted them to join in when the ravey bit started!! Even my Nan got dragged into it:rotfl:! I still feel it was perfect for us and am glad we went for that song.
