it was only a matter of time before vacuum assist toilets were made available to residential use. I've seen these at work in commercial places in the US, and they are brilliant. Very little water usage but a little noisy

Not long after we got a water meter we stopped flushing after every use, and saved about 50 units of water a year! So technically now our 40 year old toilets only "use" about 3 litres a "flush" - they've been coping fine for about 8 years and have worked perfectly for at least the 30 years we've been here. Of course we'd love a completely new bathroom though and can't say I'd really want to keep the old toilets - one of them is a not-so-delightful lime green!0

Thats good to hear i also have the same Toilet you bought and it is Fab, only trouble was the seat not been stable but guess what i have sorted it now by buying a blue expansion thing for the hinges from idealstandardspares.com0

I measured my old one before I started looking for a new one, it was 12L. This one is 6L, but this one is only 4.5L.0 -
