Not long after we got a water meter we stopped flushing after every use, and saved about 50 units of water a year! So technically now our 40 year old toilets only "use" about 3 litres a "flush" - they've been coping fine for about 8 years and have worked perfectly for at least the 30 years we've been here. Of course we'd love a completely new bathroom though and can't say I'd really want to keep the old toilets - one of them is a not-so-delightful lime green!

Thats good to hear i also have the same Toilet you bought and it is Fab, only trouble was the seat not been stable but guess what i have sorted it now by buying a blue expansion thing for the hinges from idealstandardspares.com

I measured my old one before I started looking for a new one, it was 12L. This one is 6L, but this one is only 4.5L.
