They werent able to do that for me, as it takes a couple of hours, before your 3 number becomes live.
Its relatively easy once you are set up, just go through your phone menus and punch in the pac code.

Takes around 24 hours to move across the number, I believe this timescale is EE's doing not Three's.

Came home - went through procedure - however NO feedback at all from 3 - No Confirmation that number accepted - no TXT no email
Have tweeted support - PAC expires in a weeks time

Do you have to make a drama out of everything!
You’ll need to fill in our online form to let us know your PAC.
So that we can get in touch if there are any difficulties, if you're on Pay As You Go you'll need to register your My3 account online first.

    You'll also need:

    • your existing mobile number and your new Three number
    • your email address
    • the name of your old network provider
    • your PAC.
If you send your form in before 5pm from Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), your number should be moved during the next working day. If you send your form in outside of these times, we’ll process your request as soon as we can on the next working day, and let you know by text or email when your number will be moved.

I've done something very similar today - am on a month by month deal to make sure signal is decent in and around work and at home.

Received the SIM at the weekend, entered the PAC details on the site, took a note of the reference number and expect my number to be ported some time tomorrow. Any problems, I'll ring up and quote the reference number.
