Any chance of someone at MSE emailing tmobile asking why they are blocking and ofcom has classed them as uk mobile numbers
Also, as the networks are aware that Noodle numbers are used to either gain revenue and/or make some international calls for free, then what you'll find is no matter how often Noodle changes numbers the mobile networks will catch on and start charging for them.0 -
The reason they are excluding these numbers is because the networks think they are losing revenue from their customers not calling abroad directly. As if....0

Do they mix? Can we use Noodle on T-Mobile. More specifically, will T-Mobile charge if I call the 07822 number and I was wondering whether the number on their FAQ (http://www.noodle.co.uk/faq.html - 0208 114 1111) is as expensive as an 0870 number. Links are a man's best friends.com0

i found out about noodles on here (international calls via a 07822 number) so started using it via my vodafone. I kept checking my bill and then once the calls came through it came to £54 in calls despite noodles stating on site that ofcom has classified these numbers as mobile numbers from 1st august. A manager is looking into my claim and will call me. Meanwhile I called ofcom who said that vodafone will have to refund me the £54 as they class it as a mobile number so it should come out of my minutes. My question/s are if they do refund me when vodafone realise peopel are using this number could they then say they are banning these numbers or blocking them even if they are classed as mobile numbers or could they send a letter saying they are going to start charging for 07822 (could people get out of their contract this way - not me as im on a cashback deal)anyone else had similair experiences with vodafone about this?0

Hi, I'm sure if Vodafone are looking into this they will come back with an answer you're happy with. If legally they have to allow this number to come out of your minutes then they would abide by that wouldn't they? Where did you read about the law on this number? Would be interesting to hear more on this one.0

herehttp://www.noodle.co.uk/faq.html : Will people pay extra to call my new number? Ans: From 1st August 2007, Noodle Oodles numbers are UK mobile numbers. Ofcom will classify Noodle numbers as UK Mobile Service (for those of you that like technical information). If you are calling a Noodle number from a mobile phone and are on a calling plan, the airtime should be included in the minutes bundle you signed up to with your carrier. Noodle recommends that you check with your current service provider first to see if your carrier will apply the Noodle Oodles call to your calling plan.0 -

That says you need to check with your service provider. That indicates to me that it's at their discretion whether they include it or not......0 -
Somewhere on mse forum it was mentioned that dialing the noodle no from an o2 phone is free thats what they have on their website as well although they do tell you to check with operator so i thought about checking it out.
I made a few calls in total 8 minutes on various calls (local no, mobile and international call) and checked on my online bill and it was being charged i will have a word with o2 about it tomorrow see what they say and ask why they are charging with its a mobile no im dialling but this post is just to warn you guys that noodles whilst they give money you are also being charged so be careful and if anyone knows of any free nos which can be used to dial international please post thanks0 -
I've used 07978 numbers which had been advertised on dialdaily's site and wasnt charged for it in august.I've used it sparingly this month but havent checked whether i am being charged since i dont have online billing.
I'm not sure as to whether we are allowed to post numbers in the main thread?? If the moderator's think it's ok,I'll pot the numbers ,if not I'll pm you.
If you've got onlione billing check it soon to see if you are being charged
