Thompson and blooming Morgan

Anyone else having trouble with them? Way back I ordered their Summer bulbs collection through Tescos, x2, and they were supposed to be delivered before the end of April.

No joy, so tried phoning....totally impossible. Sent an email, and was told it would take a few days just to answer......been a week so far. I tried phoning again, and there is a recorded message saying that April orders will be sent out in the first 2 weeks of May!

What the hell....T&M know that summer bulbs now stand no chance for this season!

I also bought mini plugs from them this year, and the quality was abysmal. They really have not thrived.

Anyone else affected, or know any way of kicking them up thye backside?

The only way that I was able to contact them was by messaging them on facebook. They replied really quickly after not responding to any emails.

Stopped using them years ago because of the poor quality plants, but thought I'd give them another go and I'm sorry I did, out of 5 plug plants, 1 dead and 1 in the departure lounge, think the fat lady's sung as far as T&M are concerned. :(

T&M's heat treated onion sets were extremely small this year. To be fair, the failure rate has been pretty low, but I'll be looking elsewhere next year.

I ordered the Bizzy Lizzie plug plants, wasn't expecting them to be small enough to fit through the letter box. :(

I ordered a couple of plug plants from Suttons. they came via Royal Mail, thru the letter box. But was impressed with the packing,( looks like they are growing in a flat tea bag) also after repotting , in 48 hours they are looking very good.

Some of my T&M plugs arrived dead or moribund.

I emailed them and they took over a week to reply. They left a message on my answering machine and to be fair did replace the dead plants with much more healthy ones.

The plugs I ordered from Van Meuwen were even worse. Again they did replace them for me. However they were totally unsympathetic when I complained that the lucky dip 'selection' was actually 50% begonias.

Ordered geranium plugs from Vernon geranium - arrived after the last Bank Holiday weekend, having been in the post for days, got frosted and died - no refund offered!

I may be wrong but I believe Vernon is actually owned by T&M.

My experience suggests that the smaller specialist nurseries are usually better.

You've just reminded me that my order from the end of March still hasn't arrived. Current dispatch estimate is now end of August

I've posted on their Facebook page as that seems to be the way to get their attention
