Phone is Samsung galaxy s3 (which they want to keep, and not change)
Car is Golf, 2005 model..
Stereo system, is the basic golf one (which came with the car)
They want to connect the samsung galaxy s3 Internet, to the car stereo,
so they can connect to the phone internet, on sites which play 'music', so that this music can be played through the car stereo, when driving.
(without mp3s or Cds) - but hearing internet website music via the phone.
how would they do this? - get a new stereo with the appropriate holes?
Infact they will be replacing this stereo with a new one... so this old one will be out.. and replaced with a new stereo,
but don't know which new stereo to get... and which holes it this stereo needs, for doing what is asked in this question....
They are happy to get a new stereo (which has new holes, for any wires)... and are ok to get the appropriate wires.
We dont want a new phone, samsung galaxy S3 needs to be kept and used.
We know you can do it with the Iphone... and I pod, but are asking for the Samsung galaxy s3 to the car stereo

You will have to get an aux input adaptor for the head unit, whether it be bluetooth or cable, costs around £100 fitted.0

-
The stereo should already have a 3.5mm aux-in socket (most cars have had for years), if it does, use that. A cable would be 99p.0
-
There is a Bluetooth radio on offer in aldi at the moment for about £30.
It should be as simple as pulling the old on out and swapping for the new one.
(Unless the Golf has a bespoke radio size).0 -

yea, then what about the connection, from the S3 to the stereo?
What is the name of that wire? can you give a google image of it please.

As an example. Get a length appropriate for them; that one is 1.2m, I went with a 20cm one.0 -

Plug it into the headphone socket.

.
Are yo sure that is right? that is 2 phono ends, and the s3 doesn't have that hole..
Are yo sure that is right? for what they want? They don't want radio, but to connect the sound from the s3, going out...
to the car stereo (via a wire, and new stereo)0 -
The internet tells me the S3 has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
eg.
oh sorry for that, our mistake
I was assuming the usb hole needed to be used?
so basically this is a simpler method, to use this.
can the usb export hole on the s3 be used, with a USb -Phono wire... as another option? or that is more complex? or it does the same job,0
