Don't you need to take your Vantage elsewhere anyway in July when the Vantage rate drops to a paltry 1.5%? And top it, you'd get 0% if you didn't set up 2 DDs on each of the accounts.

    Your comment is exactly correct.

I think it is so sad that I cannot keep £45k with Lloyds Bank because they cannot provide me with just one worthwhile single product.

Accordingly, I have to put this money with another financial institution. If this FI is a bank and can give me a product which I need, then there is a risk I will completely jump ship.

Now if there is one thing a bank needs, it is 'customers'.

Having gone through the era of 'I will just have to get your cheques authorised" when I have 'paid IN' (What silly stupid rubbish! They were just searching for Lloyds Bank Financial Adviser sales leads!) well, I now have to wonder if Lloyds Bank just wants 'sucker customers'?

Obviously, they make the most money from sucker customers and we're not one/two of them. We think things out and make a bit of an effort with our money.

Hi Hominu. You would normally need to print the vouchers and take them along to the cinema
Just to check, these can be used both at off-peak and peak-times, correct? I don't want to walk into the cinema and have them refused. The T&Cs don't mention it, but Vue do charge more for peak rate.

Yes, that's correct. You can exchange a voucher for a standard 2D admission ticket to see a regularly scheduled film performance that's being shown at any time.

    Hi

I've got a lloyds vantage account. How do I convert my existing account to club lloyds?

I tried to covert it via the Club Lloyds page but all thats achieved is for Lloyds to create a brand new account which I don't want as all my direct debits are already set up for the vantage account.

When I logged on it gave me the option to upgrade my account. I then could choose Club Lloyds or the paying current account.

If it isn't letting you do it online then I would just ring them up and ask them to transfer you to do Club Lloyds desk. They have a dedicated team.

We opted for the Cinema tickets in branch.

It has been well over 30 days and no sign of them.

If you have given them your email address, they'll be in there. Mine were found in my 'Spam' folder.

I opted for a magazine and had an email about 3 weeks ago saying they'd send me the mag starting with the June 14 edition. This edition has been in the shop for at least 10 days but nothing has arrived here. So not impressed with either Lloyds nor the agents they have chosen to administer the freebie.
