Just got back from walking the dogs - didn't heed their advice to take a brolly
But went in full wet weather gear but it's time to get rid of my waterproof jacket - all the lining is cracked and fails, actually should have got rid years ago but I like to hang on to things :rotfl:
Anymore of the Elite going to confess to having phobias
Social phobia.Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

It is your fault poor ccj gets us mixed up.
Probably read Stubby that sounds like bubbs and as no one else calls me it didn't have a clue who I was.
Oh and cj, David. will never let it go if you keep a good glitch to yourself when you are chatting away online and don't want to share.
I do hope he does let go of zippy's meat though. :rotfl:

Thanks bubbs, she is quite shy so she has found it difficult to stay in contact with them and of course they train and go off to competitions. Both of which she can't do anymore. When you train several hours a week it becomes such a big part of your life without realising.
It's a shame because she has not kept in contact with anyone from school either now she is at college. I do find it a bit worrying she doesn't seem to have made any good friends at college either, never goes out unless with me or her sisters.I don't expect having a couple of great big scars on her arm is doing her any favours either.
dont worry she will be fine she sounds just like my ds2 he was into sports and broke his foot badly so could not continue he has not stayed in touch with school friends and even though he is popular at college and travels with his mates there he does not see them outside college, I was really worried for ages as he rarely goes out and when he does its when dd1 partner and mates drag him out to the cinema when there is a good film on. last time was 4 months ago.
But oh pointed out he is happy in who he is, he loves fishing, cycling and kayaking, he owns 2 morris minors and an old landrover which he works on, a shed full of tools and he is always making things, and he is saving to buy a garage He may not be the normal 19 year old but I have stopped worrying now
just encourage her to do the things she enjoys and maybe through you and her sisters she will meet new people and make friends xx0 -
