Oh don't worry folks, if you make a mistake, I won't shoot you. Instead, I'll do something far worse:o - point out your mistake in the most prominent manner and criticise you in the most vituperative and intemperate way possible:o:o:D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

I can vouch for this!! :p:D :rotfl:

    Dont worry about it

I saw it on one of those discovery channels.
After the drops and hopefully for you the optic nerve is long enough or it gets a bit medieval they just pop a teaspoon under your eyelid and gently ease the eyeball out. Well they gently ease to start with ;)

Then they just make a small incision on the nose side of the eye ( less chance of the scar being visible afterwards) push everything out from the other side a bit like shelling peas, do what they need to do and then try and get it all back with the cutest little funnel.

    Simples really :D

David - you really need a tourniquet round your neck ! You are a dreadful man !:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Stop worrying - I've had the hospital tests and although its a little uncomfortable, its not horrendous or very painful ! The hospital machine is more accurate that the opticians 'puff' (which the specialist told me always gives a higher reading ). My pressure is up at the top end of 'normal' - but that is apparently Ok for me as its not changed in 10years. I did ask if I could have the drops 'just in case - I really wanted them cos they make your eyelashes grow at a fantastic rate ! H has used them for several years and his eyelashes are disgustingly long and thick (especially for an 84 year old with a bald head!)

In fact, I wonder if I could rub them on his head and make his hair grow ![/QUOTE]
