'...the NHS provides some interesting information about best before labelling on food. Its website states:

‘Except in the case of eggs, “best before” dates are about quality, not safety. When the date is passed, it doesn’t mean that the food will be harmful, but it might begin to lose its flavour and texture.

Every year in the UK we throw away 8.3 million tonnes of food and drink, most of which could have been eaten. So think carefully before throwing away food past its “best before” date.’ ... '

There was a clicking noise coming from the glove compartment area, and it seemed to be interfering with the radio. The light on the clock also seemed to be pulsing a bit as well. When I went out tonight all the lights were flickering, headlights, the dash, everything! The only way I can think to describe is like before you get a power cut.
It feels a bit shuddery as well when in 2nd/3rd gear.

    I could cry!

I've got a couple of cordylines in big metal pots in full sun. I suppose I always could move one and see how it gets on in the shade

You would think with eggs, that they would put a use before date on them, instead of a best before..
