Good to see Cameron coming out to condemn this:.....:

Perhaps he has taken heed of Ed M's wise words on the subject; "I'm not in favour of tax avoidance obviously, but I don't think it is for politicians to lecture people about morality."

I'm more worried by how little tax Amazon pay, not some ex pop stars.

Except he was talking about Jimmy Carr.

Asked to comment on Tory supporting Gary Barlow....

His quote about Gary Barlow was 2 years ago at which point all there was were allegations therefore not much he actually could say.

Why did he comment on Jimmy Carr's tax affairs then? Unless I'm missing something we never got past the "allegations" stage there...

Jimmy Carr admitted what he did, and made it part of his act?

Jimmy Carr had already admitted what he did was wrong & should never have happened etc. Whereas Barlow at the time was claiming he'd done nothing wrong & fought the claim that he had. Two completely different scenarios.

That's Barlow one step further from the knighthood he craves.

You'd imagine being a sex offender would have done for that, even if he has been in Corronation St for yonks.

It's never a good to defend political parties that you support even when they are wrong.

It shows you dislike the other parties even when they are right.

In Gary Barlow and Take That's defence (and they should pay the tax!), they have brought a heck of a lot of money into the country and helped create jobs.
