To answer murphy5rr, I have a Halifax/BoS account (in fact I've got a Halifax type of logon) and it works fine on EMM. I used to have a Sainsbury's credit card and that worked Ok as well, although you could never see the balance on the front page.

Being able to store it on a pen drive would be particulalry useful... do you know if you have enter all the infomation over again, or is there a way of transferring it directly from Egg?

Sorry - you have to re-enter it all again - but having done it just after registering, that will be the only time - thereafter you can use your pendrive on any PC and only have to enter user-id/password to log in - everything else is on the pen.

Thought I take on the end too. Its now 2008 and I'm having trouble logging in onto egg.com. Just a 'page not found' all the time. Even google it can get further into the site but always get a 'apge not found' for the login page.

However on my laptop it is all fine, which suggests egg.com is fine. The laptop is running WinXP SP3, IE7 and uses the default Windows for its firewall and uses AVG for anytivirus.

However on my desktop PC (on which I can't get egg.com up) I'm running WinXP SP3, IE7 and ZoneAlarm full suit (ie both firewall and antivirus). So I think its to do with zone alarm. However it wasn't a problem about 2 months ago, so I guess egg.com has changed and I presume zonealarm is blocking it (though no pop-ups appear).

Just wondered if anyone else had the same troubles?

I have attempted to add my Abbey zero card to money manager without any success. And Egg are baffled. Anyone successfully done this? do you need to fill in all 5 boxes or just the last three necessary to access the card directly through the Abbey site?
  • Yes, I am having the same issue with egg money and abbey zero .. has anyone managed to login?

only card number, security id and pin are required on the website, but on egg a username and password are required. I presume the standard abbey credit card is different to the zero card?!

Mine works fine for Abbey Zero (although there was a problem last year when Abbey changed their login process)

There are two differnet login methods based on the prefix for your card. You should just be able to provide EMM with the info you would normally enter on the Abbey site (so in your case card no, security id and pin) and it should work ok.

I am having a problem with Tesco and Virgin at the moment, but they have both updated their login procedures recently and I guess Egg haven't caught up yet.

    Problem with NatWest

    Received this reply from Egg

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Natwest have recently changed their website.

Our Egg Money Manager Developers are aware of the problem and are working towards restoring this connection, as soon as we have a resolution I'll contact you.

No timescale can be given around when this will be resolved.

Thanks for this, I have just installed windows 7 and thought it was a problem with the new operating system; I also cannot connect to American express as well as NatWest.
As I type this they are updating the site so I hope they fix the problem.

Egg money manager still broken this morning, haven't been able to log into Natwest for ages, and my balances are randomly doubled.

I've now given up with Egg completely, as I no longer hold accounts with them anyway, and signed up to First Direct internet banking plus. Don't have to be a FD customer, sign up in minutes online, and you can also add many more things than EMM such as your house value, art etc and bills. It also looks nicer. A no-brainer switch IMO
