- There might be a typing error in the address.

I have spoken to Egg who say there is a problem with the service that is affecting some customers who use Egg Money Manager. The service is not letting these people progress past the login screen.
The customer support representative suggested that I disable the 'Account Tracking Profile' add-on, restart the browser, and retry... but this did not work.
He said they are hoping to fix it soon but it has now been over 24 hours, and probably longer. So who knows. It's very annoying.0 -
I am so glad it's not me.
I spoke to Egg also and they are saying it's my computer that must be doing it. i have tried everything i can possible imagine doing except buying a new computer.
I will leave it for tonight and hope it's sorted tomorrow or monday.
Thanks Floop for your replyMy Motto in Life:

I hope Egg aren't giving up on the problem and blaming customer's computers.
It worked fine, and now it doesn't, and I cannot even get into Egg to view my accounts. Everything else works fine, as it did before - other banking websites, other websites generally. The problem relates to Egg's service and I hope they sort it out quickly.

I too have been experiencing the problems here, and only for the past 3 days. I'm an IT Engineer and thought at first it must be a problem with my PC or internet set up at home, but it's not. The problem must be with certain accounts at egg, my symptoms are...
I cannot login to my egg account, I enter my login details and get no incorrect password error, but when the web site tries to go to the money manager screen I get a generic "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" error, same symptoms as the others in the thread.
OK, any IT Engineer would see this message and assume its a problem with the PC they are using not being able to access the internet, but I have access to several PCs, some at home, some at friends homes and some at work.
I have tried to logon using my account settings on 3 PCs at my home, a PC at my sister's house, my friends PC, and 4 or 5 PCs at work, and get the same symptoms as above.
I have tried to logon using my Wife's account setting on all the PCs above and her account works perfectly fine.
My friend can logon using all the PCs at my house and at his home. So there must be a problem with my account on egg side.
Things I have tried to fix this problem as per egg's suggestions when I called them...
Clear Temporary Internet Files
Delete Cookies
Logon as a new user.
None of these things will make a difference as the problem is egg's side.
I have left a fault call with egg, the kind lady I spoke to has passed the fault on to the egg IT department, then she asked if I would be interested in a special rate on my egg card, I said I would if I could use the account.
I fear that the IT department are going to see the symptoms I have and just say it's a problem with my PC, and it will take several days to convince them otherwise.
If you are having problems too, please call Egg, the more people who call them about this the sooner they will recognise it is a problem their end.

Here's something you can try if you are having these problems, it does not fix the issue but it does allow you to go into your account, although you cant view your accounts.
Logon as normal
You will get the error message, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
Then Type the following into the address bar
https://your.egg.com/customer/personaldetails/yourinformation.aspx
This will take you into your account, but if you click on the "Your Money" tab, you will see the same error as above again.
I logged on to my Wife's account and my account on the same PC at the same time, and copied the URLs from my wife's (Successfully logged in) account into my internet page, the "Your Money" tab url is https://your.egg.com/customer/yourmoney.aspx and just errors for me but works for my wife.
So again this points to problems with certain accounts on egg's side.
Please post if you get your account fixed.0 -
JUst tried this, whilst the error message is displayed after you have logged in, copy this into the browser address
https://your.egg.com/customer/eggcard/recenttransactions.aspx
And if you have an Egg CARD you will be able to view it, so it's as if only the "Your Money" tab is broken.
Now my wife's account does not have any external accounts listed in money mangar but mine does, so maybe the problem is with money manager.
Come on Egg, sort it our please.0 -
Sorry about all the posts, but this URL will get you into money manager
https://moneymanager.egg.com/Servicing/chooseinst.jsp
I wonder if I delete my accounts from here, if the problem would go away, but I dont want to do that as I have forgot all my passwords to my external accounts ;o).
Remember these URLs will only work after you have logged in and got the "INternet Explorer cannot display the web page" error.0
