I would still favour the faceless internet posters to be more honest than an EA .... they simply cannot help themselves.Bringing Happiness where there is Gloom!0

I'm in Herts. House prices are very strong here and no signs of slowing, but I guess it depends on what part of Herts you are in. As has already been said, not growing as fast as London, but growth is respectable and I would say more so for the past couple of months. I'm in West Hertfordshire. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm in St Albans, which has certainly been booming up until recently. This is why I was surprised when the EA said the market was cooling off (but this was a young EA from a company I did not choose to market my property). Maybe he was just annoyed I signed up with one of his competitors? Who knows? It just took my by surprise, but it seems he is a lone voice.0 -

Can't speak for Herts (no local knowledge) but London is booming and Surrey (at least our part, Dorking) seems to be going up too.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0

Good article in the Times yesterday on how the boom is spreading out from Central London to the big commuter towns of the South East.
St Albans was called out as one of the places with the fastest house price growth.0 -
