That reduced me to tears. It also highlights to me how things are going with someone I love.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0

Me too, although the one about the aliens/blinds/car headlights made me laugh out loud. My mum was diagnosed with vascular dementia almost eight years ago and has been in the final stages for at least half that time; I have no idea how she is still with us. I am going to buy the book for my brother.0 -
Thanks for that Mojisola.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Oh my. So cruel. Rings so true.
I, too, am in tears here.
Thanks Tony Husband, well said. Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation? :cool:0 -
Me too. I couldn't read right down to the last few frames as I knew how sad it was going to be.... Just joined up to the Dementia Friends campaign - and that video was hard to watch too.0

I read it in the newspaper this morning on my kindle and to put it down twice because I was in tears. I work with dementia sufferers and I felt that no training course could come close to this to get people to understand the effects it has on people and their families0

Another one with tears! I work in Social Care and frequently work with people with Dementia and this cartoon is so accurate. An excellent way of educating those who don't understand how Dementia affects someone and their family.0
