I am looking for any good deals on Three's £15 texter, either a good phone, free gift or Cashback. I plan to use my old phone with it, a Mio A701 if anyones interested. I am trying to find the best deal and then go through one of QuidCo or R Points to make it even better.

So anyone seen any good deals, paticuarly after a smartphone if one's available but I don't really want to pay for it as its only to tide me over until my current one is repaired

Well to reply to my own thread I've found this deal http://threestore.three.co.uk/offerdetails.aspx?offercode=18OL67D038&phoneDesc=Nokia_6280r_black&phoneCode=NO6280R3DS&tariffid=0

Thats the Nokia 6280r with £50 Credit, plus you get £40 if you go through Quidco making it £90 (6 months rental) plus a fairly decent phone.

I'm still open though to better offers, just hoping my Mio will work with it and that O2 CPW get their backsides in gear with my PAC number

    Hi,

Three store only. E61 with Tom tom Sat Nav. £15 tax and texter with £5 internet add on £20 a month total. Free Handset. Handsets a bit big and has no camera. Wifi and QWERTY keybaords are bonus. If you buy online its free on just £15 from Three direct. Quidco is a available.

    or

Dialaphone Nokia 6120 smartphone.£15 a month with £60 cashback. THis handsets just coming out and is getting cracking reviews. Since its only about £150, I am expecting decent 1/2 price offers soon.

I really really want a Windows phone.Nearest to this is the SPV650 online at Orange for £29.99 and then £20 a month, but they are out of stock at present

Since you present phone is not 3G, three will not allow you to use it on there network and will eventually block your handset from there network.

    Best regards

    Baz

That's why I wanted to keep my Mio, 3 are a bit moronic trying to block my handset just because its not 3G. I want one with a decent browser considering I'll be paying an extra fiver a month to (hopefully) use with internet radio and browsing. A decent browser is therefore essential

And have you got a link for that dial a phone offer, can only see the more expensive tarrifs on their site. Or ones where you pay for the phone, which you may have meant

    Hi,

    Try this

    http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/buyat3/search.aspx?searchOrigin=true&network=cellnet,orange,virgin,one2one,three&term=18&txt=1,50&findPhoneName=Nokia%206120&page=2&sortkey=&order=&rowqty=20

This deal shows twice, one with a £49.99 handset charge the other one as free.

I have found another site with £30 quidco and 10 months half priced line rental. Will save you an extra £40 but its only on pre order and you have to mess with cashback claims.

The Internet browser on the E61 is very good. I didnot try the Nokia 6120, but all the reviews I have read have been good.

    Regards

    Baz

Looks like this deal might be killed due to poor network coverage - I forgot they had changed from O2 to (useless) orange for their 2G coverage

  • Hi
look at the link website. There are half rate monthly rentals which will work to £7.50 per month. They are good with cashbacks
  • I did consider Mobilerainbow who have cashback deals on the £15 tariffs but casting aside doubts over reliability, it hardly seems worth splitting a small cashback sum of money over 5 payments - I mean £15 a claim is hardly worth the effort once you've paid for recorded delivery (or insured) and put an SAE inside.

I'm still hoping I can get a decent deal on the 6120 out of Three and I don't have to use my PAC.
