JP Concepts Ltd is the name of the Dealer Guarantee Company I think. And they are in liquidation.
Will have to check my finance documents in line with some of the posts on this thread.
Poppasmurf - re responsibility of the cambelt change if overdue on time of purchase, is there anything concrete on this? IF I had known I would either of had them change it, or negotiated the price down to allow for me to get it changed. It's common sense really. My ex didn't know anything about it. It was only when I checked and found the belt hadn't been changed on either car that she went back and complained. Both agreed without any arguing because they had sold cars which, strictly speaking, were not fit to be on the road.
Both dealers probably knew the belts needed doing but just hoped the buyer would not notice. A used car dealer tried to sell me one of these worthless plans for £300 few years ago when I had a 206. It basically covered nothing that would ever go wrong.
Better to just put that £300 aside for repairs when something does go wrong.0 -

To trusting I guess. I never questioned the Cambelt as the sales man kept reiterating it had a full service history as it used to be a hire vehicle. So when they tried selling me the Warranty (which clearly stated the cambelt needs to changed in line with manufacturers recommendations) I thought I would be fine.
It has peeved me off so much. I was heavily pregnant at the time, and had my young daughter with me.
