Receiving foreign currency into £ account

Hi,
It seems very hard to find even on the banks websites the associated costs of fees/load of receiving a euro transfer into a sterling account. Does anyone have any experience with this and who provides the best rate?
A euro account is out of the question and the account must be in my name (no 3rd parties).
Thanks

If you can't use a third party, then you can't shop around. You've excluded all the options.
Never receive money into an account that is denominated in a different currency. You will always be stung.0
