When I send the template letter in the newbie thread to the TPS should I attach a copy of blue badge or leave it for later correspondance?

Am just a little uncertain whether to/how to add to/alter the wording re the blue badge or just leave well alone as it is such a terrific letter!

    Thanks for any advice

It doesn't really matter ... if their invoice says "failure to display blue badge" then telling them you do have one is irrelevant really, the "offence" was failure to display it.

Just send the template appeal as-is. If you feel you MUST mention it ...

    x) One of the vehicle occupants holds a valid blue badge, although it was forgotten to be displayed, and thus was occupying the space correctly. (A copy of the blue badge is attached. The manager of [store name] has also confirmed that the occupant is a regular customer and holds a valid blue badge). That said, a blue badge is only valid for public/council land, and has no relevance for private land. All that matters in respect of the Equality Act 2010 is that "reasonable adjustment" is made for those persons with "protected characteristics" covered by the Act - a blue badge does not apply for all characteristics covered by the Act. Now you are aware that a vehicle occupant is covered by the Act you must find that the PCN has no merit.

"First time ever it was not displayed and what a costly mistake" - as you will not need to pay them not such a costly mistake after all.
