    It was the heater.

In the last 13 days with the heater turned off most of the time, I have used 97kwh day and 12 kwh night = total cost of £24.36

Previous 36 days with heater on 24 hours a day, I used 403kwh day and 77kwh night = total cost of £100.36

Daily usage has gone from 11.19kw to 7.46 and I'm now looking at a monthly bill of around £56 including standing charge and VAT (plus that's on the rate offered by Spark, who I am transferring away from soon)

    Thanks :)
