Loves, Hugs, Snuggles, Squeezes and Squishes for Mr and Mrs LW.. I hope your news is positive.. I shall be watching for your update tomorrow!!!!

DD2 has decided this is not the right time so I have that to deal with next.

My cat is getting fat.. his thyroid drugs must be working. The bunny's eyes are still scabby, apparently it is just his oldness.

I feel a bit better today so have degrotted the middle room which was disgusting.

Front room will be done next time OH goes out.. he just gets under my feet if he is home. Squeak is not going to nursery for a couple of days, her chickens aren't quite all scabbed over so she needs a few extra days off.

I'm starving.. best go to bed before eat half a cow!

I really don't think I want to see a spider that big and that close. Can usually manage them ok arms-length but not like that :)

Lynnejk - sorry don't know where to buy cheaply in bulk - usually just get a small bottle from Mr T as some small sms don't stock it at all.

Please , please let me know about using it for midge detractors though. It is dangerous for me to get bitten and we have loads of midges/ ? mossies under our tree and in the back garden. Reluctant to go out as the bites always end up infected and then I have to go on abiotics which can affect my condition adversely. Already allergic to penicillin.

Morning all, DD away happily and boys have breakfast.

Tonight we're having a few friends round so I need to have all main rooms tidy, get stuff for a bbq and I really need to clean the car out (it's yucky again). Front garden could do with a mow as well, think i'll give that job to the OH.

i read ages ago in the paper that avon skin so soft oil was a brilliant midge repellant, it has been mentioned on the no more buying toileteries thread as well. if you google you can read up and make your own mind as to whether its worth trying

    Morning all

So sad to hear about the teacher being stabbed to death yesterday, truly awful.

ljk cheapest by the bottle I find is MrA own brand white vinegar, I don't know if chinese supermarkets would be cheaper, we don't have any nearby

Boys away to school, one feeling sick and one with knee pain and the other is off to the osteopath this morning.

    Plan is:
    Stomach exercises
    Shower
    WM on
    Living Room
    Clothes shopping (yuk)
    Online banking
    write report from yesterday
    DS3 to cricket
    Finance meeting
    Manorial rights meeting
    Collect DS3 from cricket
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

Morning all. Popped out geocaching last night on the way to get DS from scouts. On the way up the hill, we came across a cyclist who'd come off and broken himself. We ended up bringing his bike to our house (his father in law will collect it later). DD said to me on the way after, I liked the way that complete strangers stopped to help. Valuable life lesson for her I think.
Right. Need to crack on a bit. I have lost my slippers!

I have cleaned out the fridge and in doing so have more than completed the 32 fling boogie. Will be having words with DH about stock rotation later.
I have decided that the cupboard I'm going to tackle is the one in the utility room. It's 800mm wide and wall unit depth. It'll take flipping ages though!

Grotty jobs done. Monday finished :D. Laundry folded and piled on the table. Coffee time now and will then throw the Hoover around for a bit. I have a rather large pile if stuff to put in the shed, lots for chazza shop and rag man.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Morning all.

LW & Mr LW thinking of you both.

Yesterday was pathetic as I got sucked into the other dimension that is the "internet search for..." where you don't realise how much time has passed. Result I lost about 6 hours through the day! Have answered some questions though, others can wait for another day :rotfl:Didn't manage to get to Mr A until 5pm and then DD came home filthy (school trip to basically an obstacle course like the army do), I had work from 6.30 and by the time I was back and we'd eaten all I wanted to do was go to bed. :o

However, today is a new day. I'm dressed to my shoes (only because I know I have washing to hang out lol) and I'm going to do HHC's all day until I get things sorted.

Already repacked DD's cookery stuff, she only wanted to take the full 1kg box of icing sugar and 400g pack of digestive biscuits in when all she needed was 50g and 150-200g respectively! :rotfl: By the time I'd finished (while she was making her packed lunch and breakfast and printing other homework out) she'd gone from a bursting carrier bag due to the amount of stuff she was taking and not putting it inside the tin; to a cake tin in a carrier bag :D The tin is even labelled on the bottom with "This way up - cheesecake being stored in lid" on it as the foil dish & tin are too close in size so I suggested she did it that way. ;) I've deliberately put too much of stuff in though so she still has to weigh stuff out in school ;) Next time she's making soup and I'm wondering what container to send her in with for that. May let her have a go at it at home to get an idea of final quantity ;)

    My week looks like this:
    Tue:
    Wed
    : Dentists
    Thur: Work all day/evening
    Fri
: Get DD sorted for going away for the weekend :D Bank
    Sat
: DD away until Monday :D

    This week must do:
    Ironing
Update finances / review budget :(
Menu plan around what we have in
Book Mr A delivery for Sunday/Monday
    Finish teddy bear
Catch up with magazine reading - 5 to go - then recycle.
Fix DD's shoes (personalised ones which the decorations are coming off due to how hard DD is on shoes :() hopefully before the weekend so she can take them with her.
    Cook bacon
    Bake cake!

Well its too misty here at the minute to put washing out, so I'm going to have HHC+ attacking the blooming teddy bear! Its taking forever, but hopefully it'll last another 20+ years before it needs this sort of TLC again ;) Time to catch up with something on the TV while I work and I'll iron later while watching the snooker ;)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
