Fizz and LW, thanks for Birthday wishes.
LW, glad yours was not bad news. Keeping all paws crossed for Mr LW on Thursday xx
Some muppet has parked right across my gate. We're going to struggle to get the bike out without scratching the nice shiny Lexus if they don't move it before bikers FiL arrives. Grr. So inconsiderate. Next door may well struggle to get her pushchair in and out too.

    HMF welcome

    Lamewolf great news

Kaz you sound like me, I have a lexus although it is badly scratched due to Polly (satnav) sending me down a very narrow track on the way to a cricket match and I love geocaching! Hoping to pick up a bug or two to take with us to Vancouver and Maui later in the year.

Been shopping - waste of time, trying to buy clothes for p/t job - nothing. Trying to find a new tinted moisturizer - failing.

Will need to go again tomorrow.

Window cleaner has been though. Going to do a HHC at 15:30 for an hour until the boys get home.

Please , please let me know about using it for midge detractors though. It is dangerous for me to get bitten and we have loads of midges/ ? mossies under our tree and in the back garden. Reluctant to go out as the bites always end up infected and then I have to go on abiotics which can affect my condition adversely. Already allergic to penicillin.

My Mum swears by Citronella - it's an essential oil she does aromatherapy. You can by candles with it in or I think add to oil and apply to skin.

I've never found vinegar very cheap so I wonder about it being cheap alternative to other household products (though may be more effective than more expensive alternatives if not on offer).

Oh LW what a relief but so worrying that they couldn't just tell you in the first place! Hopefully Mr LW will be equally positive.

    Happy birthday, kaz

pigpen hugs to DD2 what a tough decision for her X

Dusty that school is in my city - frightening, they have been questioning a 15yr old. Devastating for the lady's family and friends :(

Sadly DH cousin passed away today. Of course we've been expecting it, but its given me the shakes somewhat. Thankfully she was peaceful and not in pain. Her mum and husband were with her.

DD had a rotten night (as such it meant I did too) and awoke with ear ache and sore throat. She had her tonsillitis voice :( Anyway, granny took charge and she saw the practice sister who declared "viral" and apparently DD is now "starving" so it would seem she's feeling better...

    Flying is cancelled.

Quick suggestion about OH not knowing where any of the stuff goes. Was any of it his clothes? I assume he would at least know where those go. A "Could you just have a look through this pile and put away any of your clothes that are in it." might get through a little bit of the pile. The other thing I suppose is to ask him to put away specific things somewhere. e.g. "Could you put all the towels in the airing cupboard." or something like that. Only alternative is showing him so he is fully trained up for next time.....:rotfl:

Haha half of it was actually his own clothes!! And some bedding. Which goes in a box beside the bed. Not exactly difficult! I think I need to spend some time training him up. I feel like he's a dog rather than a boyfriend half the time! :rotfl:

Bossy, so sorry to hear about your DH's cousin. :(.
Dusty, we've not done much geocaching. We've done it for four years but have had sooooo many DNF's that we got disheartened and stopped doing it for ages. We've only really started up again since going for a walk with HMF and her whipping out her phone and finding lots of nearby geocaches. Our sat nav is as old as the hills and doesn't work so well now either. Perhaps I'll get the app? Data charges are costly though!

So sorry to hear your news, bossy. Go easy on yourself for a while.

Very relieved for you after your knife-edge wait, LW - and anti-pain vibes heading your way. All fingers and toes still crossed for Mr LW.

Pigpen, I'm glad that your DD2 has been able to come to a decision.

Welcome HMF and Happy Birthday Kaz
    :bdaycake:
I want to do geocaching - haven't got a smartphone myself, but will try to persuade DH to download the app.

Haven't achieved much today (yet) because of SW and then taking my friend to the horse piddle, but I'm about to go out and put up the second rose arch. Maybe I will even get some planting done later, while DH is playing with model railways at the club this evening.

How are you getting on with your food plans, JTTOU, Froddy and mummyroysof3? I had plateaued a bit recently, but managed to shift some this week. DH :A did well too.
