Thank to Natty for the new thread and to Dusty for last week's. I'm in as much as possible, between gardening and looking after chickenpoxy DGD1.

While it has been raining this afternoon I have sorted out the back porch (which involved moving a set of shelves, piles of wood, garden chairs, children's toys etc) and begun tidying the study bedroom. I need to get that finished tonight so that DGD1 can sleep in the single bed tomorrow if she needs to.

DH has done some more painting in the side porch and downstairs loo, and I actually think we might get the utility properly sorted within the next couple of days. The piles of stuff on the dining table are gradually getting smaller, and the rest of the house is OK., so it shouldn't take long to clean right through at the end of the week.

Paper tadpoles are appearing all over the place and threatening to become frogs at double quick speed, but the decorating and tidying are still my priority...

    Thanks Natty!

Evening all. Gave up the end of this/last week due to too many things going on. I'm still trying to get DD's teddy bear stitched back together but its proving a more mammoth task than I thought :o I will get on with it though as I'm sick of tufts of blue fur all over the place.

    My week looks like this:
Mon : Mr A shop for cookery supplies & top up groceries (FRESH EGGS, as I keep forgetting them :o), DD out on school trip until tea time (making own way home), Work 7pm+
    Tue:
    Wed
    : Dentists
    Thur: Work all day/evening
    Fri
: Get DD sorted for going away for the weekend :D Bank
    Sat
: DD away until Monday :D

    This week must do:
    Ironing
Update finances / review budget :(
Menu plan around what we have in
Book Mr A delivery for Sunday/Monday
    Finish teddy bear
Catch up with magazine reading - 5 to go - then recycle.
Fix DD's shoes (personalised ones which the decorations are coming off due to how hard DD is on shoes :() hopefully before the weekend so she can take them with her.

I'll attempt to get the kitchen done Monday, but I plan on batch cooking bacon in the oven once I get back from the shops so will wait until after I've finished that ;) I will however get on with the ironing, the pile has only grown despite my best efforts not to add to it this weekend.

Now I best get to bed, sunrise is before 6am and it lights up my room meaning I'm being 'forced' to get up of a morning earlier than during the winter :rotfl: See you all in the morning.

Yay nice to see you Deco and Vanilla, missed you both.

Kids and DH like the new dining room/my study layout, I'm not convinced yet but I'm not great with change. Still the room has had a good clean behind all the furniture which was moved, just some piles of paperwork to deal with tomorrow.

Thanks for the thread. Joining in as usual, hoping to get to the end this time!

I'm hoping to do all of tomorrow's jobs before I take my son to his first disability nursery session. Well it's more of a playgroup. He'll go once a week for 2 hours.

  • Aw thanks Dusty

Worktop all decluttered and washed, cupboard fronts all wiped, table cleared and wiped. DD's lunch done for school and uniform half ready (can't find her tie which I bet is under her bed which she can get in the morning). Wm nearly finished so i'll wait and put another load on and head to bed.
