The tweezers are good for getting muffins out of the toaster.

You are Sheldon Cooper and I claim my £5. :D
  • Nope, although we do like to play a game of 'spot the most overpriced, pointless item' when a catalogue arrives :D

    About 15 seconds in.
  • I personally haven't bought anything, but my Mum does occasionally, and she bought me a windscreen de-misting pad-type thing with a long handle which I actually find really useful in the winter for reaching all around the windscreen when it steams up.

    Saves over-exerting one's self! :) (I wouldn't have bought it myself, though!)

  • We tried actually being agents in our village & because we'd never had a booklet, wrongly assumed there wasn't one. You have to buy the books. so those that fail to return them are causing extra expense to an agent. We used to do one full drop, then note in a notebook addresses who did not want another. It worked, but then we found the other agent, who had the area sewn up, so gave it up after 1 year. When we were rep's the Bar keepers friend & astonish paste were the best products. That in 96 though. I still buy now & again. The joined ovengloves are still being used 5 years down the line. I'm old enough to remember the rep's with the brown suitcase, who had samples to feel/check out. Mum always got pegs/scourers from there.
  • I've had a few bits & bobs from them in the past, but, more often than not, you can find the same things considerably cheaper on eBay & Amazon.
