Renewing TV Licence online?

I renewed my TV Licence online on 1st May.
I got just one reminder the previous day.
After I'd paid by credit card, I got an acknowledgement email saying that I would get another email from them within 3 working days giving me information how to access my TV Licence online.
As yet I haven't had this second email but of course the Bank Holiday has interrupted the 3 working days.
But it does seem an odd way of doing things...hoping now I haven't blundered onto a scam site that's ripped my card off...?
Has anyone else encountered this same method of TV licence renewal online?
