im guessing innocent til proven guilty has no bearing with tv license....
Don't you think you are getting a bit over-dramatic?
Surely the court will decide whether or not your are guilty ... that's if you ever get sommonsed.
My experience is that they rarely take anyone to court (unless they have evidence that they think proves you need a licence and you've not purchased one)

We used to get these letters when we were renovating a property - addressed to 'the occupier'. No-one was living in the house. I rang them to explain this and ask them to stop sending the letters, but chose not to give my name, as I knew we weren't committing the offence they were accusing us of. Their reply was that they needed a name in order to stop sending the letters, so I told them in that case they were welcome to continue to send threatening letters, and that they'd be recycled. It is a nasty form of harassment designed to browbeat you. If you don't have a tv and aren't watching it live, then you haven't done what they're alleging, so let them rant on. Personally, I wouldn't give them my name if they don't have it. Sort of hard to issue any sort of legal action against an un-named party.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0
