Good Evening,

I upgraded to an iPhone 5C today however I have decided that 8Gb is too small. It is unopened. Would I be able to return this to the retail store and swap it for a 16Gb but keep the tariff?

Not likely. They may change it but you will either have to make a pretty large up front payment for the new phone or your monthly charge will be more. You wont be able to change to a better phone and still pay the same. That is no way going to happen.

I'm quite happy to pay a bit more for a different phone if I need to.

On the receipt there may be some information in regards to their return policy.

I have returned a phone and cancelled a contract when I was not happy with it as they was a 14 day cooling off period, this was a very long time ago when I took a contract with One 2 One now known as T mobile. So they may be a possibility in your situation unless things have changed, also worth popping in to store and see what they can do.

gosh thats a while back, things have changed since those days
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

You have no right to a change, and EE policy is not to allow it. Your only hope is to go into the store first thing in the morning and try and sweet talk the manager into doing a goodwill exchange.

If you go with the attitude you know you are expecting it as a favour you might be able to get a swap.

If the box seal is intact that is a good point in your favour-otherwise the phone is secondhand, used or not, and devalued accordingly.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
