I have just found my first coin for teh month, a nice shiny 5p, I walked passed it on the way to the toilet and picked it up on the way back to my desk whilst pretending to be on my phone!

Found a very dirty tarnished 20p with DS this afternoon, but it all counts (although not in my money box as DS claimed it as his own - he's caught on quick )

Need to count up my finds for the month, be back shortly.

ETA - so total for month is 63p unless I find anything tomorrow and as we're off to a local community garden open day, which is along my route to work where I'm most successful I'm hopeful of a few finds

Had a day off today, hubby and I decided to have a wander round London. We spent most of the time round the London Bridge area - went to Borough market then climbed 311 stairs up to the top of the Monument. Hubby won the road kill competition. He found a 20p and 2 x5ps. I found a 2p, 4x1ps, and 3x5ps. In total we found 51p today. :j:j:j

So we haven't even made it to the open day today and I've just smashed every total I've ever had. Just been to the park to walk the dog with the tiddly peeps and found a crisp, but damp and muddy £5 note. Go me :T :j :j :beer:

I doubt that I'll have such a great June as all the undergrads have finished for the academic year.
