Little grandson kept me awake all night last time he came so I said I am going to put concrete blocks on your feet if you keep me awake again... Had text this morning seems he's really upset and don't want to come and stay this weekend :( but told him he can sleep in his sisters bed. Poor child nana's so bad :(

:) No you are not a bad nana!!!! :rotfl: When my kids stay over at my parents they do tend to wake up earlier because they are in strange beds. My mum says she just tells them that they are not allowed to disturb grandma and grandad until the big hand is on the 12 and the little hand is on the 8. They have books and a few quiet toys in their rooms to keep them happy if they wake early. Apparently at 8am on the dot they burst into grandma and grandad's room and jump on their bed! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good morning all, not sure what the weather is going to do today, rain or shine. Sounds like you are having thunder storms then firefly/oddie. I do hope they don't come here am terrified of them.

Oh Oddie, its funny the things we say to the GK's not expecting them to take it to heart. He will soon come around soon when he realises he is missing out.

Don't be wish thunder storms on my Bella, you can keep them there if you can :)

Think our GK's are coming later so must get on.

That's a lovely thing to do Oddies learning the kids to knit :A I think kids do need to be taught old traditions as they have it too easy these days!

Hope you've had a nice time with the boys sheils :) Safe journey back and hope it's not too long before you see them again xx

Your kitchen choice sounds nice Sylvia :) I chose a light lissi oak in colour but I wish I had listened to everyone about not getting the shiny black work tops! :o I feel I'm forever cleaning them as they do look like they scratch easy! I should have gone for matt! They still haven't finished my kitchen either! :( Apparently they mis-placed one of my cupboards!

Hope you're safe in the thunder storms fire**fly/Oddies :) it's raining here but no storms yet!
Good luck getting your storm Bella! :D My nephew used to be petrified of thunder storms and would hide in a cupboard. I also remember my mum hiding us in a pantry every time it thundered too! :o

Well done on the headphones sax and hope you get more wins soon :)

I was in bed at tea time yesterday with a raging temp and a horrible migraine! Much better today though, just a headache.
Nothing in post only a hospital app for Newcastle on 17th so I guess things are progressing now :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

We have heavy rain but no sign of a storm. At least it waited until we were half way home before it started.

Had a nice time with boys thanks wingo but it will be nice to get back to normal. DS3 was on holiday too so it did get hectic at times especially yesterday when DD was off school as well. Long time since everyone was here for more than a night or two.
Glad things are progressing and hope you are feeling better today.

Well the rain has hit but no black clouds, no rumbles or lightening! The rain isn't even that heavy - how boring! I want thunder and lightening (stamps feet and shakes fists!) frown-smiley-emoticon.png
