Started off really bright and sunny here then it went hazy but stayed warm and dry - loads of families down on the beach though making the most of the last day of the holidays. Love you gardening pic FF! I have pottered on too and spray painted a planting trough

Got my washing done before the rain hits this week! Going to have a relaxing evening watching Celeb Catchphrase and Corrie !

Had a lovely day at Wallington and then Belsay so saw some lovely houses and gardens. Staying right beside a lake now so hoping to walk round it in the morning. Had a nice carvery which included soup , roll and salad followed by a dessert and free bottle of wine plus 1 free dessert - under £22 for both so pleased with that

Morning all!

Morning Rose, my ribs are feeling much better though still a little sore. I have just pottered on over the weekend with little jobs that have not involved lifting or anything to strenuous. The kids are back to school today so going to have an easy day. Thank you for asking x

Looks like we have had rain overnight as the paths and gardens are wet but dry at the mo. I don't mind a few days of sunshine followed by some rain as it does the gardens good and saves me getting out the hose or watering cans! We have a little sunshine and a rainbow just now!

Good Morning, Just had some cereal and juice and going to walk round the lake shortly. Think there has been rain through the night but dry just now. Going to Newbiggn by sea and Blyth later I think before going to our hotel at Washington (won stay in Dec)
