Gosh it is quiet in here! Just had a nice day wandering about Sunderland after a visit to Hylton Castle which was lovely to look at although you can't actually get into it. Back at our hotel at Roker now and it is very nice although our room is at the side so no sea view which is a shame. We have an enormous bathroom and the bedroom is a decent size too, recently renovated too by the looks of it. DH suggesting going for a pint so could be tempted although I will have wine instead. Internet is brilliant here, started working in the car as we drove up. Turns out I didn't book the hotel I thought I had lol Just as well we saw this one first or I might have gone into the other one just along the road and looked really dim.
