Up today at an ungodly hour as the kids were supposed to be picked up at 7:30 - only just gone

Got my limited edition, not avaliable in shops, 40th anniversary playmobil knight yesterday, daughter 2 wanted to play with it. Not going to happen.

Sunny and bright here now - might take a wander to the dickens festival later (only as there are food & drink stalls giving out freebies)

And i had a complimentary PM yesterday - makes a change from moaning ones :D

Have a nice weekend with the kids sax. Postie just brought me a form to fill in for jury service. Was wondering what it was when I could see it was from a court on the envelope.

Wooo Rose, I had to attend jury service about 12 years back - it was a six week murder trial! Loads of waiting around at the court daily but I got my travelling and food/refreshments paid for and I also got paid for taking time off work as that was when I was working and before I had my kids.. It was interesting!!!! I think it is compulsory unless you have a good excuse not to attend eg a medical condition, criminal record etc.
I think you would enjoy it Rose as you have been following the Oscar P trial like me!
Just come in from the garden to cool down! Cannot believe how hot it is today! Loads of bumbly bees though! swatting-fly-smiley-emoticon.gif
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

Received my Febreeze Trial Pack yesterday. Love the smell of the Jasmine one. Tried it out and had the best sleep of my life last night. Looking forward to trying it all this week as I am off on holidays so plenty of lie ins.
Postie has not been round yet today.
Weather beautiful here today hoping it keeps up all week.
Sheils glad you are sorted with your new freezer. Are you heading away anywhere this weekend or is it next week? Is DS1 home this week? You will have your hands full if full house this week.
Sylvia hope things improve for your DS and your hubby's DS as well. Things can only get better. Thinking of you.
    Any wins today?

I was called on once before bella but was not needed didnt think it would happen again. Maybe it is because of change of address ot maybe not because they take you from electoral role but details are all the same. Yes it is compulsary have read notes and filled in form and seeing as I am not a peer or connected to the law or emergency services or in the armed forces I have to go . I dont mind one has to do ones duty as they say :D

Just got my food back to put in the new freezer so that is all sorted now thanks Dreams. Yes we are heading off tomorrow to NE England. DS2 arriving tonight and DS1 coming on Tues. We will be back on Wed - we had break booked before DS1 told us he was coming but plenty of other peeps about as DS3 has taken some hols and his grandparents desperate to see him too. House is nearly back to normal. Ready for the break :D

Hope you got some nice freebies Sax!

Never done jury service rose but DH has done it a few times or rather been called in a few times and then case dropped. He was on a fatal lorry driver one once and as he was a bus driver had to explain lots of points to the other peeps about lighting etc.

Bella I just spent ages getting a bumble bee out of our sun porch, scared I would get bitten but felt sorry for it.

Glad sun came out for you FF.
