Afternoon everyone hope you are well. Not been on much having trouble with breathing again so have been given a nebuliser to use at home to get medication in to lungs quickly. It seems to be helping now but had a few scares as just couldn't get a deep enough breath.

been making some home made apples sauces & jarring them up for the open day coffee morning next week,

Hi Everyone, it's getting very cold here as well.
wingobins I read the posts from the last page and work backwards. Read about your fritters! coincidence as I have just finished eating a Chicken Maryland, had pineapple fritters, but sadly they didn't put in any banana fritters or battered onion rings. I now see you were talking about gritters, you are lucky they brought them out, during the really bad winters we had here a few years ago, they didn't bring out the gritters (excuse: they had run out of salt!). Our local hospital was kept busy with people breaking bones, most people fell walking on pavements.
I picked a new Fridge Freezer on Saturday and decided to get a new Cooker as well. They were delivered tonight at teatime. Looking forward to using them.
I know what you mean about having so much to do, I work for a charity and from the beginning of November we are in Christmas mode, I can feel the rush already.
I am looking forward to the Advent Comps next week and hope us inners have loads of luck. We will be rushed off our feet over the next few weeks.
rosemac hope your health improves, winter is awful for anyone with breathing problems. Take care.

I remember when you mentioned last time Dreams about them not Gritting your roads saying they had ran out of salt! We are very lucky as we have a grit box at the end of our road. The road at the end is a dangerous sharp bend and ices over very quickly which is why they put the salt box there so we can put it on the road. Some folk are greedy though and tend to take the lot as soon as they fill it!
So glad you replaced your f/freezer & good on you getting an oven too
Not sure if I will be able to cope with the advents I can't keep up with comps now!
