Brrr! Husband got up at 4am to put the heating on it was cold!

Wondered what you meant by fritters too wingo!


Cold and frost seems to have passed us by. Feels fine - will get shock when we go to Selkirk on Wednesday as always colder over there.
Going to take scarf and gloves and put fleece in jacket.
Going to do a big shop today. Have some £5 off £40 Tesco vouchers .

Good morning all, some good pics about today, thanks.

Waiting for DD1 to pick me up as have to go to Dental Hospital for a biopsy from inside my mouth today. Not looking forward to it at all. They don't think its a problem but have to check to be sure.

Talking of fritters, I love pineapple fritters. Don't like span fritters though.

No gritters here and no frost either looks like its going to be a nice day.

Think its great when the kids are careful with their money Sheils/Wingo. Its a good habbit to get into. That's what my GD does when I take her out Wingo, have a purse full of copper and I land up paying.

I really miss Downton as well Nix but we have Christmas Day to look forward to, hope its not a sad one.

Morning All!

Hope you've all had a fab weekend. I learnt quite a lot this weekend...
1. I'm far too old to party with the young (bruises everywhere)
2. I will no longer be able to stay in a tent it's going to have to be 4* all the way now. (I was always of the mind, if you can't pitch a tent it ain't worth staying )
3. Never wear mascara to a musical that will sing your favourite song - Try A Little Tenderness. (I travelled home with a zebra face).

I hope you all have a fabulously lucky week and all get calls from Father Kissmass.

Love the pic Rae! Glad you had a good time at the show. Was it cold in the tent? I would only stay in a tent in summer!

You'll need extra layers by Wednesday Sheils if we are getting the snow and frost from the USA! It's frosty in places here but seems warm strangely enough! (Or maybe it's just me who's warm!)

I must admit fire**fly although I don't like spiders I do love to see their cobwebs sparkling in the frost. I always want to take a pic when I see them!

My DD loves spam fritters and I have to go looking for them in morrisons all the time. Not many places sell them.

I promised myself I would sort out the sideboard cupboard ready to get rid of it before my suite comes but I've walked jasper and feel tired now! Just having a cuppa before I go to work. There's so much going on with schools, sports clubs etc with the run up to Xmas there's not much time to do anything!

agree there wingo, there always seems to be something
magical about seeing them shimmering in the
frosty mornings,
know it sounds daft but I always feel guilty if I accidently
break one after all their hard work doing them
