Morning! Bit late but been busy this morning as I had to go round to feed my parents cat whilst they are away on holiday! I don't just feed and leave though as I like to spend a bit of time stroking her and giving her a brush so she doesn't feel lonely! Bless!

Soooooo mild out there today and the breezy too so have changed all the bedding and got most of it hanging out to dry. I get a window cleanedr once a fortnight but just after he had cleaned them about a week ago, we got those strong winds from the sahara which left the window looksing so dirty! I have been round and cleaned all the bottom windows but will just have to leave the upper windows until the window cleaner comes next as I am not venturing up and ladders! :( How annoying!

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday. I am just pottering on as the kids are playing upstairs and have friends over :)

Afternoon lovelies  Sorry I never finished our game of footy, my internet crashed. (Or was that me after the wine?.... )

Blowing a gale out here too fire**fly! I was hanging my washing out and had the smells to put on the little hanger when a pair of knickers blew out my hand and almost over the fence! :o Managed to save them before my embarrassment but they need washing again! I do like to see the washing blowing on the line though but maybe not over the fence!

You're such a good nanny Sylvia babysitting all the time :A I'll send the kids round to your later! :D Enjoy your trip to town :)

Are you away this weekend sheils? I see you've got lots of ironing too. I keep putting mine off and just ironing a few at a time! :o No energy lately!

Enjoy your weekend off indie, hope it's a good un' :)

Aw that's lovely taking care of your mums cat Bella :) I bet she will love that.
Hubby sacked our window cleaner yrs ago and said he would do them himself but guess who ends up doing them? :o

Have a good day out with DD kitten :) It's nice to have lots of books when they are young as these days it's all kindles and consoles!

Nothing in post today just junk. Gonna pop to mother gooses for a bit but must get back before football match starts as she hates having visitors when football is on! :o
    Have a good day all!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Ironing finished FF! Have entered thank you

Had a worrying email from DH's old aunt when we were in Blackpool and I was concerned she was being scammed by workmen. Told her to get her son over and didn't hear anymore. Got in touch with him when we got back and he said all was ok. Turns out my instincts were right and she has been left in chaos and missing thousands . So angry about it all. Stupid son should have had his eye on ball. He still hasn't admitted I was right

Grrr! Guys I don't know what to do. Husband had a text to say he'd won a £500 gift voucher and to contact them. It was from Gumtree comps. I remember entering this even though I can't find the comp on here. I also remember Gumtree was logged in my husbands account. The website the text sent us to doesnt tell us how to claim.

Any ideas guys? Or is it a scam?
    Let's be happy!!

She is nearly 94 and is amazing for her age but has been too trusting this time. Guys were maybe out of their depth. She got them from Yellow Pages so should be able to trace them ok. Hopefully her son will manage to do something
