Aw that's awful Sheils, I think some folk just target the elderly knowing they are vulnerable. There were two men going around here yesterday with white shirts and trousers and clip boards making themselves look intelligent but I spotted them down the road from my window and they looked really shifty lurking about watching houses. They came to my door but I refused to answer it! I hope your aunt gets her money back.

I got a call from tombola earlier, I almost put phone down thinking it was a sales call! I've had so many sales calls this week I've lost count! Anyway I entered the birthday thing on tombola that was running this week and I won a £10 LTS voucher

I'm the same sheils nowadays! I've always donated every month to cancer research since I left school and started work and it just comes out of bank every month. But it's constant now, give this give that! There's only so much you can do! This week though I've had lots of calls about the 'accident I've been in' and about 'my car' and consumer lifestyles just won't take no for an answer! I used to say 'sorry, I'm not interested' now I just put phone down on them!

Not had many junk calls for a while here. Got recorded message one about recycled kitchen time after time. Kids never answer phone so think that helps!
DD had chat with salesman once thinking it wasDS2 trying to be funny. He wasn't long in hanging up

used to have JW's all the time at our old house sheils
sometimes used to enjoy having a good chat to them :eek::D
don't get them where we are now or salesmen etc
