Hi Guys

My husband just rang and said he has had a text from Gumtree to say he's won £500 Primark vouchers. He doesn't do comps.

I remember doing a comp and his log in details where there and I only realised when I pressed enter. I'm wondering if that was it. I have logged into his Gumtree account and can't find any messages and can't seem to find anything on the boards.

Do you think it's a scam?

So, looks like there is a legitimate competition, looks good to me.
He might have been entered just for registering on Gumtree to buy / sell something in the last few months?

Oh Sleepyjones thanks for looking. I googled and didn't come up with anything. He is still out so will look at the text properly when he gets home.

Maybe the cynics are wrong?

I'm staying as cynic though I will not enter them.
