oooh I don't like them earwigs much either rose
they always remind me of my granddads garden years ago,
he used to grow lots of dahlias & they usually had
quite a few of them lurking in the flowers :eek:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

I don't like earwigs either Rose.
Thing I hate with a passion is the lid that goes up to the attic for some reason. My Grandma always used to say there were peeps living in hers but that was when the attics of a terrace house used to go from one to the other. Never liked them since and won't go to bed if the lid is not down.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Been out in the garden most of the day until now, just come back in for a cuppa. We even had lunch out there it was so nice. Been digging up more of the borders so I can get more slate down before Winter.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

in some ones attic  they can be a bit scary
them earwigs used to get in all my strawberries at
one time as well rose :eek:please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
I don't like earwigs either. My Grandad used to say that thay crawled in your ears and walked around and around inside your head until they sent you mad
That has stayed with me and I always check the bed for them (and woodlice) before I get in. Spiders on the otherhand don't bother me at all. Ive had a tarantula with sting removed of course, walking up my arm and down the other
Weather is still lovely here too, ive managed to get all the beds stripped, laundered and remade. I love getting in to a freshly made bed.Wins 2022 March - Product Of The Year Goody Bag June - Baker’s Too Kit July - A years supply of Fruity Gum / Nutribullet Juicer October - Immune Support Supplements Dec - Green + Blacks Tasting Selection (no delivery, had £20 Amazon Voucher instead) / Halo Creative Nails Kit / Board Games Bundle / Essential oil & Gemstone Cards

Son had an Iguana when he was younger called Arnie. But he is terrified of spiders and daddy long legs. One day in his house there was one crawling on the carpet and I was in kitchen making kids lunch and he came running in saying mum you have to go in the living room. He said just look on the floor. In I went looking at the floor couldn't see anything so said to him what am I looking for ? not wanting to frighten the kids he spelled out spider. Finally found it and put it out lol.
