Morning all
It's grey and dull here as well but at least it's not raining, which is a bonus.
Bluebella I never go to bed before 2am and look like that every morning lol
Happy Thursday to you all. Loving the pictures
Good luck Sheila hope all goes well for you
Firefly that is a brilliant quote and so true
Kids smoking - I was very foolish and began smoking at the age of 12  Peer pressure and all that. Really regret it as I still smoke and have a smoker's coughWhen I see kids smoking I can't judge them as I'd be a hypocrite. Some parents I know give their kids too much pocket money, my Niece for instance gets £15 a week, which I think is way too much.
I used to get 50p a week! Ciggies were quite cheap and other kids who got more pocket money used to share theirs with me.

Gosh whizzybop £15 a week sound a lot. My DD only gets £20 month but she is doing job at weekend and after school now. She earned £93 this week so if she wanted to smoke I couldn't do much about it. Luckily she doesn't like peeps smoking but all my sons have smoked although only youngest does now.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Gosh I must be a skinflint as I give mine £5 a month!
They do appreciate it though and I do give treats here and there and buy them mags occasionally. My son however has started his own enterprise in school.....selling sweets/crisps/drinks for more than he buys them for!
The day I found out about it he got caught and had made £16 by selling which he was saving to go into town & pics with friends! I suppose I can't moan at him for that!
Speaking of accents Dreaming_ ours is very chavvy in our area but whenever I talk to folk from elsewhere! I try to talk posh!I'm sure Sheils would agree with me!
I'm sure your DD would much rather spend her money on clothes rather than fags sheilsI always tell my kids that the smoking helped their nana get cancer so they say they hate the smell of it.
No wins today for me, unless it get an itv phone call!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Hi, I'm back from the Dental Hospital, what a trek it was too. Have to go on waiting list for the biopsy but they don't think it will be a problem. Seems its an inflammatory condition and a compromised immune system.
Won an enhanced cleavage swimsuit :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Don't think my cleavage needs enhancing any more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ooo which kind of proper Scottish are you? I fell in love with the Highlands accent when I did E2E earlier this year. There was one shop I kept popping into, to keep the owner chatting because it was the most fabulous accent I'd ever heard! Surprised I didn't get banned lol.
I try to make my vowels shorter, but Jnr has a cheek picking me up on my accent as he has the oddest of accents (IMO) it's a bizarre mix of Sarf East London/Mancunian laced with a dash of Kentish dialectreally posh lol
