Morning People

Hope your all well this lovely sunny day.
Going to walk to toddler group with little one today, it's about a 2 mile drive but if we walk its nearer as we go across fields and a little forest walk, it's lovely on a day like today. Looking forward to it as they stop all the group at half term. We have the NATO summit here, we live about 20 miles west of Cardiff. My parents went to Cardiff Bay yesterday which is just such a lovely place to go but there were armed police everywhere, I think the VIPs are coming today so Newport and Cardiff will be a no go area. I'm not a city person so rearly go, I'm a country girl through and through!
Husband works for Emergency services and has been down there for the last couple of days but he's now got 2 weeks off so he's missing the busy time.

We are going on holidays next week and we are going to see PEPPA PIG world.....I'm more excited than the little one.

I hope the weather is as nice where you are today

Good luck to those going back or starting school. It will be our turn this time next year. I think 3 is too young to go to school full time. Apparently in England they go to school at 4 not 3, is that correct? I was told that as Wales is a poorer country (?) children start at 3.

Looks like its back to school on for most of the kids, our GK's go back Wednesday and Thursday.

One of my GK's has a tie that just hooks onto their collar Wingo, a much better idea I think. Hope all goes well back at work for you.

Hi Sarah, enjoy your last year with your LO, they soon grow up. We used to holiday in Cardiff when we were small as it was a family friend.

I am taking Son to look at Finchale Abbey today as he has his camera with him and wants to take some pics. It is within walking distance from here but will have to take the car for him as he is not up to the walk yet.

I must be dreading going back to work after being off 6 wks as I keep having weird dreams about it!

I agree with you Sarah about age three being too young. They are so tired at that age and some still need an afternoon nap. There was a debate on tv not long ago about increasing school hours to about 6pm! I can't see that coming off, far too long!

Its sunny here today fire**fly too. Have you got much planting etc to do today? Ive noticed an increase in spiders getting in! _pale_ I will send them round yours!
