Afternoon
I hope you all had a good weekend. I have just got my internet up and running again as it went down friday and they couldn't come out till half hour ago.Not been a very good weekend at all I was stung by a wasp on saturday at work then 2 of the clients decided they were going to fall and grabbed hold of me, twisting my back...:( Luckily i had yesterday and today off so could rest it). But today is a new month and new week so lets hope it brings some good luck to us all.

Oh looks like you have had a tough time of it Indie, no internet all weekend, I wouldn't be happy about that and I bet they charged you to com out as well. Then stung by a wasp and now your back. Big hugs for you and hope you have a better week.

Thanks. I did have my phone but took me ages to type the right letters for words I gave up in the end,lol. They didn't charge me for coming out so was lucky there.

been hectic today on the boards with all the new
monthly comps & others :eek:
but good fun keeping up
SIL & DH were at hers for the day so
it's been great just me comping :D

temperature has dropped here now & it's feeling
chilly so am making some chunky veg soup with
crusty bread for dinner, warm us all up later on :j

Ahhh poor Indie, wasp stings are awfully painful - I was stung when I was little and ever since then I run when I see one. My mum was stung on her foot just a few weeks ago and said it was really painful, especially when she wore shoes! They may be small but they are nasty little creatures!

Well last week they said we were in for a scorching week - an Indian Summer??? Where em I think it has missed us or something? It isn't cold and hasn't been raining today but for 95% of the day it has just been dull and cloudy!

I've just been getting the kids uniforms out for tomorrow and helping them to pack their bags. I do think they are quite excited - it will be sad to wave them off at the school gates ...... em, actually no it won't - I will wave them off then rush back home with Honey for a nice big latte and biscuit to celebrate and sit with my feet up all morning savouring the peace! Yeah!

hope all is well,I went back to the gym today and done a good workout after having 3 weeks away to rest my Right Knee which is now much better and I could exercise today without pain yay! I food shopped afterwards at Morrisons.

I went to my coffee group this afternoon,then I went to the post office and then had a walk with friends

tonight just going to relax and watch some tv.

My two eldest tried in their uniforms last night Bella. DD's looked too big and son looked like a right nerd in his blazer! We tried for ages trying to do the tie though as it's first time they have wore them! Hope your kids have a lovely day tomorrow

I was going to say it sounds like you've had a lovely relaxing day fire**fly but you've been busy making soup too! I do love having the house to myself sometimes though

We went swimming today seeing as weather was dull. Back to work tomorrow!
