Well done too Dreams
I love Lenor, I wonder if I got it too?
We usually park in back streets too Sheils, generally up top where pool is but last time we drove there DH (who hates paying for parking) drove around and around for ages looking for a space that didn't have permit holders only or ticket machines! He ended up dropping us off and parked practically right out of Whitby! Even the park which used to have free parking at side was a pay and display! There is a park and ride just outside of Whitby or you could drive in but either way....it will probably cost you to park! I thought it would stop folk from going but it still gets packed!
I caught my DD2 earlier, who had been playing with loom bands for ages making a bracelet....with her fingers blue! I immediately cut it off which she wasn't happy about and couldn't see the danger! They really are dangerous if left on too long. It's like years ago when we were told not to put an elastic band around your wrist as it would stop your blood.
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Happy Humpday! Will be a bleary eyed one for me as I have been up since 2.16am! Wide awake now but come 11.am I will be drinking coffee coffee coffee!!
At least all my dailies are done!Funny how the seagulls start with their squawking as soon as it starts to get light here about 4.30am! So they must sleep when it is dark!
Enjoy your day!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Morning everyone a bit dull here this morning but no rain. Hope it stays that way as I have to go out this morning. Seagulls are having a good old shout at one another here to bella. good luck for today everyone0

They are on about driverless cars being available from next year Well sons new car is about half way there. It can park itself. You press a button and then it will assess the gap then it tells you to put car in reverse gear you let go steering wheel take feet of pedals and it reverse parks.0

Good Morning,
Think it has been raining and feeling quite cool this morning - hope it heats up a bit. At least it wasn't too hot for sleeping last night.
Your son's car sounds good rose. I very seldom drive our one as we had an automatic for years and I don't like having a gear stick now. Car we wanted didn't come as an automatic but will definitely get one next time.
We won't pay for parking either wingo so will need to look for some in way into Whitby! We walk for miles anyway so silly to pay and then walk all over the place . If we paid everywhere we went it would cost us hundreds every year. Scotland is usually good for free parking except for the cities so get used to it. York is about the only place we use park and ride. Carlisle is one of the worst too now so we seldom go - have to walk over a mile there.
Well only 2 days to win in this month. Good luck everyone.
