I got soaked a few times today too including when we went out tonight to visit my parents. Our electricity went off so we decided to go out and half way there the rain came on.

My grass has grown already rose with the rain! Looks like we're going to get a heat wave soon though

Hope it's dried out for you too now sheils. I hate being out when it's raining. All I want to do is come home and put on my pj's

I'm watching The Woman In Black at the minute, it's on TV. First time I've seen it! I think I saw a clip of it the other week but didn't take much notice!

Morning all sky is clear blue here this morning not a cloud to be seen looks like it is going to be a hot one. Hope it is the same for you. Will be a test for my new inhaler see if it keeps up the good work as it was a week ago we had exactly the same circumstances with the weather that set of my asthma.

Misty here this morning but sun supposed to come out. Hopefully get on top of all the washing.
Trying to chase up my nail varnish win. Seems to have gone missing or someone has forgotten to post it. Woman was out of office when I confirmed I still hadn't received it. Hate it when things go wrong getting prizes.

Morning all!

Looks like its going to be gorgeous today. Writing myself a list of chores to get done - I have to clean out and re-shuffle my mug/glass and cups cupboard. I line the bottom with blue cloths to protect the surface and over time (being a comper) you amass tons of various mugs, and some of them need to go to charity.

Wingoblins - Great news on the half a day for the little ones, ours ends at normal time, but were making room for the plethora of art work and school work they are going to be bringing home! eep.

Hope everyone is enjoying the heat. Our sun just managed to break through the mist so got first wash load out.


Good luck getting chores done emiai. We need all our mugs as kids seldom put dish washer on while we are away, although I think I do have more in an upstairs cupboard for replacements or for when someone leaves home.
