Bucketing down here and we are heading to Dumfries to have the car serviced and my eyes tested at Specsavers so won't have the car. Could end up pretty wet - typical.

Morning all,

Sending lots of luck to you all today, I have been ill with a sickness bug and couldn't relax or lie down yesterday for fear of being ill again, So i sat to my desk for most of the afternoon - which gave me tons of time to read around MSE and organise my bookmarks again.

Feels like I have had a belated spring clean!

Good luck with the opticians Sheils There's a lot more glasses to choose from nowadays which are much nicer than the jam jar ones we had at school! I refused to wear mine and my eyes got worse!

It's lovely and sunny here again today. I'm only at work a couple of hours so I can enjoy the sun for a bit!

Emiai, hope you feel better soon. My parents and siblings have both been really sick lately too and with the runs! Apparently it is a bug that is going round that is knocking people down like flies! I think the humid weather breeds bugs unfortunately!

So hot here today - I have closed all the blinds around the house to try and keep it cool and got my fan blowing on me now! I think we are due a few heavy showers this afternoon so might go out in the garden and dance in it!
