Hi everyone,


That's us back. Had a busy 2 days - picking up DD and shopping. Things didn't go right with picking her up as hired mini bus broke down before they got it and things had to be reorganised. Someone different was taking DD to services and took wrong turning and ended up in Stirling. Meanwhile we were at services a few miles away. DD just got out there and phoned us to collect her there, only thing is she doesn't know Stirling. Got her OK anyway - she has never been so pleased to see us. She was filthy with matted hair , wearing wellies and carrying 3 enormous bags! Some winos were asking her about T in the Park but at least they could tell her where she was. She was at bus station really but didn't realise it.
The Bella Italia meal at Dunfermline went down well after she cleaned herself up. The male receptionist just stared at her as we were going out and said "You are looking nice" Take it she looked different to when we arrived!


Well done to all the winners. The books I won were at the next door neighbours and DD says they should be good.

That must have been scary for your DD sheils, not knowing where she was! All part of growing up though I suppose. Glad you got to her ok Well done on the books

I've been looking at hols for next year. Everyone around me is off on their jollies soon so kids are a bit fed up. Need to plan some days out!

Hope you manage to find a nice holiday for next year wingo. We always used to book about a year in advance when we could when kids were coming with us.


Hope you are coping with the disruption OK Sylvia. DD did get a fright when the winos went to speak to her I think. They had just been interested in the festival though - it was obvious that is where she had been. It was lucky she had paid to charge up her phone but expect the woman would have found services if she had had to. If someone had phoned us and told us about the breakdown problem we would have gone to Balado and picked her up which would have helped everyone out.

I have the kids tonight rosemac - have them every tuesday. Yes i had a stalker who cannot take no for an answer.
At least i haven't got a rabbit that i might find in a pot so it's not that bad

Yes Wingo, Sheils is right about booking a holiday for next year. It will give you all something to look forward to. Meanwhile I hope you manage to find some nice things to do with them during the summer break.
