I took my almost 11 year old daughter to see it, and she loved it. She is used to watching Marvel films so she wasn't worried about fights and explosions and the odd character dying or turning into a monster. There is some love interest, but nothing more than a kiss on the lips (if that). No swearing.

But it would be a good idea to watch the previous one first so that he is up to speed with the story. The first one does have quite a sad storyline in places, but if he is OK with the earlier spiderman films I would think these were fine.

    Hi everyone.

I just wanted to say thanks for the opinions. We went today and saw it in 3D. It was AMAZING! Really enjoyed it.
There was only 1 bit which made him (and the rest of us!) jump and he was fine with it.
