I know the certificate is 12A, which I think means that he can watch it because I will be with him.
But I want to make sure its suitable, before I take him. Have any mums and dads seen it that could let me know please?

Have a look on the IMDB website - there's a section on each film's suitability for particular ages with regard to language, sexual content, violence, etc.... I find it quite useful.
JxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -
Can you watch the trailer and judge how you think your son would react?
or let him see the trailer and see how he reacts?0 -
Hi
What type of films is your son already watching at home ?
Is he already watching this type of thing at home ?
I suspect the storyline is so obviously make believe that personally I think it would be ok.

have you seen the first movie its got the same certificate as the new one and would probably be the best indicator to its suitability for your son. is it worth buying the dvd to check the first one out before paying for an expensive cinema trip that has to be cut short early?0

Thanks everyone. He has seen the 'old' ones with Toby Maguire in them, and loved those. But not any of the new ones.
He has already watched the trailers and says it looks good. I think I am going to risk it.
Thanks for the feedback0 -
I always think its good to look at imdb. So it's got no nudity but does have a dead charred body which flakes off and becomes someone else. It has someone tearing off their skin but no drugs not much swearing. I imagine a 10 yar old would be okay. I would take someone much younger but it depends on the childNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0

Yes definitely, and I would highly recommend watching it in 3D!!
Took my son who is 9 and of a sensitive nature and he only looked away once. My 11 yr old daughter loved every minute!0 -
I took my boys aged 4 (massive Spidey fan!) and 9. They were both fine with it (but I found it quite a negative and sad film!) XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
