And investing time wisely rather than in frivolous pursuits is also valuable.

so trying to help students who are unfairly treated is a frivolous pursuit?

I think all students should be told, but of course it's come post-A Levels (funny coincidence that) so it's difficult to find them.

That would be a very dumb strategy. What exactly would you do during this "drop out" year? Get a job earning a poor salary? Can't see many students doing this.

You're such a sweetheart Keeperbear. Instead of calling people or their ideas "Dumb" can you not just say something like "Hmnn, I don't know if I agree with your strategy, due to the following reasons..."

Maybe this is the reason people think you're a prat?

Yes also just after most of them have already completed their loan/grant application forms! It jsu seems so unfair to try to hoodwink them.

    This isn't worth it.

They haven't got the infrastructure/time/will to implement this.

It'll be announced and hit the media just before Gordo has another election, he'll use it as an example of his generosity!

New development the govt is selling off student loans to banks and gaining 6 billions!! How and where is it coming from? Also very strange how it coincides exactly with the doubling of student loan rates from 2.4 to 4.8%!!

Read this in the Times yesterday under Parliament.
